Some of the pictures you can use

Why do we have picture stories?

We hope that picture stories on Care Opinion Canada will make it easier for many more people to “organise their thoughts and express their views”, so health and care staff can hear from more of the people they care for.

This might include people affected by dementia, people with learning difficulties, children and younger people or anyone at all who might find pictures helpful.

Everyone can use pictures to share their story if they want to.

Our Care Opinion partners in the United Kingdom have developed picture stories in partnership with Talking Mats supported by funding from Life Changes Trust (people affected by dementia programme).

Read more about our Care Opinion partners journey on their blog, or take look at how one team is encouraging use of picture stories.
