Celebrating a couple Care Opinion Canada firsts!

 As we enter our soft launch of Care Opinion Canada, we have a lot to celebrate in bringing this amazing program to Alberta.

Celebrating Westview Primary Care Network (PCN)

We want to celebrate Westview PCN for being the first care provider to subscribe and be onboarded to the Care Opinion Canada program.  We are so excited to have Westview PCN begin to ask for feedback on the care they provide throughout their services.

Patient feedback and storytelling at Westview PCN is already front and centre.  Bringing the Care Opinion Canada program on board will allow Westview PCN to respond to patient feedback in a safe and respectful way.  Another benefit of subscribing to Care Opinion Canada is the ability to generate valuable insights from the stories and feedback shared by patients and their families.

Speaking of Responding to stories…

We also want to celebrate Life Medical Clinic in Whitecourt, Alberta for being the first subscriber to respond to a story about care they provided to a patient.  By responding to feedback, Life Medical Clinic is demonstrating that they are listening and engaging with their patients.

Stories shared on the Care Opinion Canada website are moderated to ensure anonymity is kept.  When a story is shared, we notify the healthcare service provider so they can respond.  When a healthcare service provider, like a PCN or a medical clinic is a subscriber, they get a notification that someone provided feedback allowing them to respond. All stories that meet our moderation policy will be published on our website, along with any responses from the provider.

What happens if your healthcare provider is not a subscriber?  You can still leave feedback about your provider.  We will try to reach out and get your story and feedback to them for a response.
