Thank you for visiting the Care Opinion Canada website.

The Care Opinion Canada website is currently in Beta Testing with friends and family.  You may find that some functions or navigation may not be fully functioning.

If you see something not working properly, please do not hesitate to email us at info@careopinion.ca

What is Care Opinion Canada?

The Care Opinion Canada website is a place where you can share your experience of health or care services and help make them better for everyone.

Care Opinion Canada is a program of Imagine Citizens Network and is first launching in Alberta with a focus on Primary Care and Continuing Care services. Currently the website is private, and only available to those we invite with a passcode.

Once the website is made public the stories shared about your health care experiences will be public as well.

Care Opinion was established in the United Kingdom twenty years ago and is also operating in Australia, Scotland and Northern Ireland

What is happening during beta testing?

We are testing if the website to determine if it is functioning the way we expect it to function.

We would love it if you shared a recent experience of Primary or Continuing Care you received in Alberta within the last 3 years. By sharing your experience, we will be able to test out the entire process from you sharing your story, to our team moderating the story and having it published to the Care Opinion Canada website.

Some key tips

  • Talk about your experience about a specific time you accessed a service
  • Talk about what went well
  • Talk about what could have been improved
  • Refrain from generalizations or assumptions about others "E.g. The nurse was talking to someone else and did not care about me" or "The healthcare system is not working"
