"Cancer Care at the Foothills or Arthur Child Cancer Centre."

My husband has been treated in Calgary for cancer, for the 17 years and he is doing fine. His care has been exceptional. Myself , I was diagnosed with breast cancer early June 2024. By June 27 my treatment was complete. Dr. Jeannie Kanashiro was the surgeon and she was awesome. She moved my surgery so that I could  go on a trip by September. The Cancer specialist was Dr.Gloria Roldan Urgoiti. She was also fantastic. The one thing she said, that was so encouraging was remember you had cancer , you don’t have cancer.  I have to say medical care in Calgary was outstanding , for both my husband and myself. When I hear all the negative things on TV , I really have a hard time believing it. There have been other occasions for me to go to emergency as well. Each time I am impressed with the care. So kudos to all medical professionals in Calgary!!!
