"Doctors office locked upon arrival"

About: Ultrasound guided injections

(as a relative),

I drove a family member to an appointment to a specialist office where he had been referred by his family doctor. When we arrived the door was locked and there was a letter indicating the company was in receivership. There was also a sticker indicating the practice had been accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. After referral by his family doctor, the patient had already had several tests at this office. It was very disappointing that there was no message for patients about what to do, how to get their medical records, or who to call other than the law office identified in the Receivership notice.
