"Pediatrics in Healthcare"

About: Dx Medical CentresTrail South

(as a parent/guardian),

I have 3 children. It has been very exhausting to find healthcare for them. One of my children is a 13 year old girl, whom no one wants to see due to her transitioning to a male. This has taken us 2 years to get to where we are, which feels like no where. We have been to many clinic and programs and just don't know where to turn now. We really need to help these youngsters find their way with guidance and care in the confusing times they face. All docs to date want to send her to guidance counselling to help her see what she is facing to make in informed decision. What do people think we have done so far? All we talk about is her decision to transition. We need proactive care! Is there anyone our there that can relate or possibly point us to the right direction to follow?
