About a year ago, after my doctor of over 30 years retired, I found a new family physician. I was fortunate to find a doctor who truly listens, never makes me feel rushed, and doesn’t limit the number of issues I can discuss. He genuinely cares about my well-being and health, and he’s proactive in prescribing the necessary diagnostic tests and referring me to specialists when needed.
However, the greatest challenge at the clinic is getting an appointment to see him. Sometimes, the wait times can be 3-4 weeks. Despite this, I appreciate that they are now booking phone appointments where appropriate, which helps manage the wait times.
The clinic he works at also hosts various specialists on a rotating basis, which allows me to see them more promptly.
